Origin of gemstone's art
The art of gemstone is such a kind of skills which takes a substantial amount of time and acquaintance. It derives from the word Lapidary which means a stone.

How can we define the art of gemstone
A lapidary is the work of an artisan who practices various and different kinds of skills such as crafting, forming, stone finishing, minerals, gemstones etc. A gemstone art consists of some durable materials like ambers, shells, jets, pearls, copal's, corals, horns, bones, glasses and other synthetics.
How and why gemstone is an art
Gemstone is not a craft rather than an art because it includes cutting, carving, faceting, shining rocks and gemstones. More and more inspiring stuff of the art of gemstone is that it requires a little amount of skill to cut and shape the design. This art of gemstones has been emerged for the last 40 years all around the world which is also named as the art of gem cutting.

How art of gemstone emerged
